Weather app?

I use one called Dark Sky. It has all the features I like in a weather app. Which is to say it tells me the temperature and the forecast. It also tells me it is raining, after I see that it is raining, which is good confirmation of my ties to reality. This affirmation would come in more handy for leftists, who have tenuous connections to reality.

I second @Horace's recommendation for Dark Sky.

One day I decided that I needed an App to show me the radar map with just one click. So I set out to build the App. But first I checked the store, just in case.
I found "My Radar", perfect, 1-click, current radar and fast. It has all kinds of extras you can buy, but I use it for a quick read on the radar. Just radar is free.

I second @Ivorythumper’s and third @Horace’s suggestion. I used dark sky about 95% of the time… although I have found it’s best within the next 12-24 hours, but 2-7 days out the accuracy seems to fluctuate a bit.

When I want a lot of detail and more forecast details several days out, I use https://aviationweather.gov
This is weather for pilots.
If I just want a quick look at hourly temps, precip % and wind, I use https://weather.com

On iPhone, I use the one pre-installed by Apple.
On iPad, I use this https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weather/id1137406490Pretty basic, and the ads are not annoying. I don’t really use the Weather app much on iPads, but it works well enough for me.

I use Geometric Weather.
Real open source, no ads, no spying, very detailed weather information.
It's only available for Android, though.

I use AccuWeather, but it's a website. I'm sure they have an app, but I've never installed it.
+1 I like their Minutecast feature.

I look out the window
Which is pretty accurate in the moment but doesn’t too you much about tomorrow.

For radar I use this, but imagine there are a billion similar to it:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weather-hi-def-radar/id458225159
I know weather underground and Windy are both really good too. Almost too good (many options).

Ok just being snarky.
I use the generic weather app on my iPhone. Seems to know when it’s going to rain.
