The important thing is that nobody should ever be sad again.

    Except maybe Mr. Putin.

This is feeling more and more like the tipping point on the whole Trans issue. Public opinion seems to be swinging strongly back against TG athletes, which will put more pressure on the NCAA and other sports regulatory groups. There is also a lot more pushback with what parents are discovering has been going on in their kid’s school curriculum.

I see the NCAA and HS Athletics reversing course on the issue in the not too distant future. The question is how does the Trans community respond? If they react with the typical tantrum and threats that they’ve been known for, I think you’ll see a much larger public pushback and the community will lose many of the gains they have achieved over the last 10 years.

👍 I've had similar thoughts, LuFin. The more annoying Liu Thomas stories emerge, the sooner the penny will drop.

I agree that this collision was inevitably coming at some point. Young women are not going to take a back seat in cultural importance to anybody. They will gladly share spotlight with people of color or what have you, but don’t tread on their lawn. Trans women are attempting to test that theory. Good luck.

          Education is extremely important.

Now there is another facet to this… Trans rights have been able to get themselves embedded deeply in most PVG (Politicized Victims Groups). They have taken over most Pride Organizations and have sent many homosexuals running from the groups that they founded. They are also firmly embedded in BLM and pro-Trans policies are part of their demands and goals. Does public opinion sway enough that you see the gay and black communities pull back their support or even actively work against Trans Activism? I definitely think you’ll see that happen in the gay community…

We’re visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in May. Karla’s already ordered a “This Witch Won’t Burn” shirt to wear in support of JK Rowling while at the park. That will be interesting…

Well the black community in general was never down with the gays anyway. It’s all been conveniently avoidable in the public discussion, but now that the occupants of the smoky room who ultimately generate the progressive identitarian agenda, our precious young white progressive women, are having to cede personal territory, sparks will fly.

This whole thing is beyond silly. All you have to do is ask why there are separate leagues for men and women. That’s it. It’s not gender, truth, individual, happiness, identity, feelings…it’s simply because of cold, clear, biological differences.

A long time ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth...The average distance from home plate to the wall (4 feet) in NCAA Women's Softball is 220 feet (around 210 at the poles and 230 in the LC power alley). In college, I jacked several softballs over the fence at 300-315 feet.

A homerun in women's softball would be a routine flyball for a man...

It would be the rational thing to do, even for a narcissistic sociopath. Maybe especially for a narcissistic sociopath.

But any argument for allowing trans women to compete with real women, based on some notion of "see, the trans women aren't winning anyway", will be wrong eventually if it's not wrong currently.

                                        The odd person out:

A Virginia tech swimmer Reka Gyorgy has slammed the NCAA for allowing transgender women to compete against biological women after missing out on finals to Lia Thomas and according to the NYP, she wants the NCAA to change the rules.

A Virginia Tech swimmer blasted the NCAA over its rule allowing transgender women to compete against biological women after she came up short in a championship qualifying race that was dominated by University of Pennsylvania transgender swimmer Lia Thomas.

Reka Gyorgy leveled the criticism in a post to her private Instagram account after missing the cut on Thursday to compete in the finals of the 500 free at the NCAA Championships, Fox News reported.

“It doesn’t promote our sport in a good way and I think it is disrespectful against the biologically female swimmers who are competing in the NCAA,” Gyorgy said of the rule that has received considerable scrutiny since Thomas has smashed records in her first season competing at the collegiate level as a transgender woman.

Gyorgy also placed blame on Thomas for her failure to qualify. The Virginia Tech swimmer said she felt the last spot to get into the final was taken from her “because of the NCAA’s decision to let someone who is not a biological female compete.”

Reka Gyorgy. Sounds suspiciously like someone who may not have been raised by parents indoctrinated into American leftist ideology. Evil. This will hopefully be taken care of within a few generations. Her grandchildren will be ashamed of her backwards opinions.
