My mum's funeral today

I couldn't be there, obviously, but they did stream it live. A funeral without the get-together afterwards isn't the best.
Man, I'm going to miss her.

I'm really sorry, man.
I never know if sharing this kind of thing helps, but for what it's worth, my last grandparent died when I was in Oz, so I did the same thing over Skype. It's better than nothing, but still hard.

Yes, as bad as it is to lose her, it makes it even harder to not be there. It sounds like you have good relationships within your family, and that's the good news. It's good you have that.
It's quite a compliment to your mom to hear you say that you will miss her. Good for you and her to have had a that kind of relationship. That will become even more of a blessing over time.
