      I guess if you are hunting and gathering there is some significant down time.

                  I sent this image to a friend in London. This was his response:

                  There was a brilliant temporary exhibit at the British Museum years ago, all Palaeolithic art. Fantastic.

                  A weird pattern is highly accurate naturalistic depictions of animals but only highly stylised representations of people.
