      Amazingly accurate.

      I guess if you are hunting and gathering there is some significant down time.

              When you look at the state of sculpture and art 6000 years ago (Egypt), it makes this all the more amazing.

                  I sent this image to a friend in London. This was his response:

                  There was a brilliant temporary exhibit at the British Museum years ago, all Palaeolithic art. Fantastic.

                  A weird pattern is highly accurate naturalistic depictions of animals but only highly stylised representations of people.
