And it's older people who are most at risk.
It would seem to be older people who live in nursing homes, at least in Virginia.
Look... if I get it, I get it. But my personal risk assessment says to me that I'm probably NOT going to die from it.

Does it say you will not spread it to anyone else who will in the contagious time between when you pick it up and become symptomatic? Or worse during the extended time you are asymptomatic but contagious? That’s not live and let live, but live and let die.

That’s San Antonio. Not east bumfuck.
I suppose Randal Flagg could be a woman in our reality.

Or in this case, Trashcan Man.
Yes, the entire world is in on the plot to take down Donald J. Trump.

I wonder about her stability. Clearly, her genius is not in question.

I'm not defending her intelligence or their choice to hug... However, the video is clipped. We don't know that she was saying COVID-19 is a Democrat ploy. I think it far more likely that she was referring to the slow re-opening and the continued debate on how strict the current restrictions should be.

How big is the group that won’t wear masks? Is it KKK or Antifa sized?
Big enough that governors are starting to try to address it.

Amen, Governor Burgum.

Based on that thinking everyone should always wear a mask everywhere, all the time, forever.
There is a limit, don't be afraid to discuss it.
Virtue is not the reason, it just won't sell, people will recognize it and reject it.

He lacked the political courage even to ask people to wear masks. His emotional plea was to not hate others for wearing masks. I wasn't even aware that that was a thing - hating people for wearing masks. I guess probably nazis would hate people for wearing masks, or maybe KKK members.

Oh for fuck's sake, it prevents the goddamn spread of the virus, okay? Jesus.

Very true.
Yes wear a damn mask when interacting with others inside. I don’t think I’ll be wearing one in a car or when out exercising.

Mask not worn:
- In my car
- In my house
- On my thrice-weekly walk. When I encounter someone, we move about 10 feet apart.
Mask worn:
- Post Office
- Grocery Store
- Any other store that I might encounter someone.
Is it effective? Hell if I know. But, it wouldn't hurt, amirite?

I also get it that some folks are going to have a harder time wearing them. And it's not like wearing a mask is less of a pain in the ass, for anybody. But the concept isn't political and I'm tired of the fuckery. They help prevent the spread.

You were just cracking sarcastic about a guy who's saying that wearing one shouldn't be political.
-

It wasn't sarcastic, he genuinely lacked the political courage to implore people to wear masks. He clearly wants that but his political calculus had him swinging away at the straw man about people who hate others for wearing masks. Who I imagine don't much exist.
