Watch the first 15 seconds, then ff to 2:40.

Look, it's all horseshit. People are going back to being people.

I don't see a mask in any store I walk in, except for the employees (half of them wearing them as chin diapers), elderly people and a rare shopper.

But, as always, some people are stupid. There was a small family gathering on my wife's side, Christmas Eve. Two people, a mother and her daughter were wearing masks. Come to find out, the father was at home with a fever. Now, what dimwit goes to a group gathering, masked or unmasked, with a family member at home with sinus congestion and a fever? Especially a gathering with multiple people in their 80's?

We might learn to live with COVID, but we will never fix stupid.

For those who care, the above happens at the 2:50 mark. And yes... so dumb. Either stay distant or don't.

I wonder if he'll get fined (again) for violating nfl distancing protocols.

I can’t believe I’m the one arguing the other side of this today, but here we are…

They had a 2:00 conversation. A 2:00 conversation would be far more likely to be a source of spread than a quick hug and moving on. It’s theater, yes, but this wasn’t the most egregious demonstration of it.

Remember the White House spokes-weasel (I forget which one) who was off-stage, unmasked? He puts the mask on, approaches the podium, takes the mask off and speaks. When done, mask goes back on and he walks to the wings, where the mask promptly comes off again.

                Now that's theater!

                  Exactly. Staged and orchestrated…
