@george-k said in Trump calls on Biden to ‘resign in disgrace’ over crisis in Afghanistan:

Not to mention the guy falling to his death.

I saw 2 fall in the video. It's being reported that it was actually 3.

Well, this will show them nasty Taliban people!

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

And in other news, the Pentagon's Diversity Department wept as the Taliban hauled down the flag at a former U.S. base...

Actually, I read that one of the reason the Talibs were so quick to overrun the country was that they were communicating via What's App - which is owned by FB, if you recall.

It won't be long before the Afghan people start to miss the CRT and gender studies courses that the pentagon was offering.

Maybe then they will rise up against the taliban.

The main reason the Talliban was able to overrun things, and the reason the Afghan army was MIA is due to Biden's stupidity. We spent 20 years and billions of dollars training the Afghan military to fight using American air support. Biden chose to summarily pull all the air support out of the country first thing.

Are you Trump haters happy now? I told you so, let's all just hope that none of the Taliban tweet something that upsets you snowflakes after they rape a 12 year old to death...,

@larry In fact, Biden didn't even want to pull out - if Trump is to be believed.

Buck stops with the President, so Joe is on the hook for this one . But, let’s not act like Trump had any great thinking or actions on this topic.

You really should educate yourself with the facts before you spew your stupid Trump digs. Trump began refusing our presence in Afghanistan during his last year in office. He made it clear to both the Afghanistan military as well as the Taliban that we were pulling out - but he did 3 things:

                  1. He didn't give a date when it would happen
                  2. He made it clear that we would leave an elite force in place in case the Taliban decided to be opportunistic.
                  3. He told the leaders of the Taliban that if even one American was harmed during the process we would unleash he'll on them.

Not a single casualty occurred during that time, so stop trying to equate the two. It just shows your bias.

The date was IF the Taliban followed through on their commitments. They did not, and so the date came and went. Your guy just started yanking everything out like the idiot he is. Don't even TRY to swing that one passed me. I'm not as stupid as you.

WSJ opinion piece. Prose I think Aqua would tip his hat to:

The world has seen a President portraying surrender as an act of political courage, and retreat as strategic wisdom. As we write this, the world’s rogues are looking for ways to give him a chance to deliver a similar speech about other parts of the world.
