@blondie Great story. I think that since the cavemen, older generations think that the younger ones are on the road to h*ll. LOL I know this is not 100% true, but I think that the human brain doesn't really want to accept new music culture after about the age of 30. For most people, their musical tastes (especially "pop" music) get fixed between the ages of 13-25.

It’s fairly simple. When governments spend less and consumers spend more, times are good. When Government spends more and consumers spend less, times are less good. When everyone is spending like drunken sailors? Who the Fock knows?

She's currently spinning merino from, I think, Baaba. (Yeah they tell you the name of the freaking sheep.) Very cool! Does she knit or crochet with the yarn, or use it in another way? She does nalbinding. Has been for a few years now. Yes, if you're getting that intimate with a sheep, it's proper etiquette to know their name. Just ask Phibes. Indeed! Had to look up nalbinding. Very cool!!!!

Amiable mediocrities who are exactly as replaceable as their managers hope they are, are the rule at any large company, regardless of the letters after their names that may be prerequisite for applying for their jobs. There is no such thing as a huge company that only hires the best of the best, by definition. There aren’t enough bests of the bests to go around. And actually for jobs that require advanced formal educations, the pool of candidates is generally limited to those who have already failed in their aspiration to become academics.
