I found this on the web. Very plausible, given the transportation at the time. Cranberries were too delicate to transport long distances and were consumed mostly in New England. But in 1912, Marcus Urann, head of the United Cape Cod Cranberry Company, started packaging and selling canned cranberry sauce under the name Ocean Spray Preserving Company. Now cranberries could enjoy a longer shelf life and become fixtures on the Thanksgiving table far away from cranberry bogs. I didn’t guess this originally because they’re actually are quite sturdy. But that’s now, in a world with rubber tires on paved roads.

@LuFins-Dad Is that the new fireplace, wall, and doors I see? Sorry, I recall you talking about renovation a while ago and various options, french doors, etc. Did I miss a before/after pic? Oh, arrogantly, no I finished christmas wrapping/prep a few days early. I learned my lesson once of putting something together at 2am the night before...never again. My kids had a great Christmas and my tired back looks forward to picking up even more toys.

I read something that Prince Charles is paying for the security for Andrew, so I guess that taxpayers are still paying it in a round way.

Tom, like most of the best, will have to have a noticeable drop-off or a series of injuries to quit. Think back on Brees or Peyton...Brees still had his accuracy and timing, but couldn't throw a fifteen yard out or a twenty yard seam pattern, if you pulled a gun on him. Peyton's arm was even worse. Tom can still throw the ball. Not quite the velocity he used to have, but he can still chunk a fly or a post. He can still play.

Why would people film anything?
