Yes I agree. It’s all the stupid stuff that seems to have grown so much in the last 20 years to the point where it’s almost mainstream, or maybe actually is mainstream
The mainstream left has gone religious, so that would make sense.
I am reminded of the tweet Jon linked to some time ago, where an academic deep thinker was doing some deep thinking about why people these days aren't getting conservative with age. The intellectual in question, decided it had a lot to do with his generation simply not being convinced that the right truly cares, and without that true caring, their policies are actually irrelevant.
