I think it's due to recession pressure on the world markets, creating less demand for crude oil. BTW, how is Biden's plan to replenish the Strategic Reserve coming?

@Jolly, perhaps these guys, along with the author, have been on the wrong pills all along.

That was interesting. And I was surprised that his law career was actually pretty short in time.

@Copper said in American Thinker u jour - Alberta Edition: Maybe we could sell statehood to help pay down the debt. We could do a franchise arrangement with countries all around the world. They could lease our Constitution. I think there are people who would like freedom. Be on your way, that’s just your Ferengi sense of humour rising to the top again.

It’s pretty vague. Hard to know what they mean by “part of the lawsuit”. Part of the settlement? Seems unlikely. Part of why the Murdoch’s are done with him? Sure, could be.

Orville and Wilbur succeded because a new process to smelt aluminum meant that aluminum became cheap, rather than more valuable than gold. They were able to use the metal in their engine to save weight, while still producing enough horsepower. The Soviets produced some great airplanes, using titanium. Far ahead of the West at one point . They did that because they had the most sophisticated titanium welding process, because they have a butt load of titanium ore, and they thought they might as well use it . Sometimes, man, material and technology all can meet in one machine.

@jon-nyc said in NY Post: "Return your Pulitzers": People who buy into Trump’s “this was all a hoax” absurdity always talk about this but the never go through the actual reporting and explain how much, if any, is inaccurate. Like Durham it also seems to be largely vibe based. Jon, you're wrong on this one.
