Anyone know why some personal names, (Yabu for example) was changed to something similar, longer, but not as it is in the book. Also several others had name changes although others were left as is.

They need to simply come up with a muscle-mass adjusted measure. GFR is probably fine for most people (such as me with stage 3 CKD - thanks transplant meds!). But the more advanced muscle-mass adjusted score could be calculated for people on a wait list. Adjusting gfr based on race because ‘on average’ blacks have higher muscle mass always seemed ham fisted and anachronistic to me.
