My provider is WoW. It never has gone down for the year or so I've had it. WoW is represented in advertisments by a dog with human hands. Couldn't be more creepy. [image: 1727739719490-40bc65cd-758c-483f-a30d-d6cb5489405c-image.png]

@Mik said in Election Lawfare: In the neighboring county they have uncovered a fraudulent ballot harvesting operation where voters are called and told to send their ballots to an incorrect address, not the BOE. Sorry, that doesn't exist. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain...

@Jolly said in Colonoscopy: Got to wonder, though...Older you get, the higher the chances of a perforation. One of the surgeons I worked with was deathly afraid of getting colon cancer. He was about 40 years old when he had his first colonoscopy. Yup he perfed.

@George-K said in Saw this on tv the other night...: I imagine the logistics/infrastructure at each end for loading and offloading would be challenging. The port of Portsmouth, VA, just a few miles from here does this, the infrastructure is something to see. The infrastructure with cranes to load/unload from ships to trains and trucks stretches for miles. When driving on the interstate you see trains that are miles long with containers stacked on them. I doubt they have the funds to keep them in mothballs, but it's not a bad idea given the international picture.

Hence the Polish military spending.

Colleges are mostly left wing and bloated. Too many mickey mouse degrees. Too costly. Too many federal mandates. If we can, I'd like to see a school that's... A. Affordable. Exempting lab fees and the cost of living on campus, college should cost no more than $4000/semester. B. Student friendly. Courses should be arranged so that a student can take a 16-hour load with a mix of online and in-person classes, that allows the student to hold a 24 hr/week job and still make grades. C. ALL courses 200 level and below should be fully transferable to any public school in the nation. D. Young men and women in the service should receive college or votech school credit for service schools and training. E. Young men and women in the service should have access to 12 hours of free college courses per year in the service, starting 10 weeks after boot camp. After serving their enlistment, they should receive two semesters of free college for every year served. F. Less specialization in undergrad degrees. You learn a lot of your job at your first job. G. And... Businesses depend too much on college to prepare students for business. I'd like to see business step up and involve more students in internships that generate college credits towards undergrad college degrees.
