This is an emergency, forget laws You may remember that about a month ago the democrats led by Ms. Pelosi demanded this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Emergencies_Act "Congressionally-authorized emergency presidential powers are sweeping and dramatic,

Expanse is great. Even when I couldn't bring myself to watch it, I could see it was great. By comparison, Star Trek is like The Kardashians in space.

Crazy shit. I also wonder about his lack of fortitude as it applies to peer pressure.

I experienced the commodities program back in 72, a friend's family I was staying with in Poplar Bluff, MO. It was fantastic. We hitchhiked up to the Bull Island festival. No money or mind altering substances, but we had something better - shelf stable food - to trade.

@LuFins-Dad said in To Address a Problem: @Jolly I'm thinking about buying 1/4 of a cow and 1/4 pig from a farmer friend and a decent freezer from Walmart. You may pay a little more, but you'll have better tasting meat, especially the pork. 1/4 not is not a bunch of pork, especially if you are making a bit of patty sausage. Just make sure your freezer is big enough...

@Jolly said in 6 Dem Governors: @Aqua-Letifer said in 6 Dem Governors: Absolutely, but I know it's not. At all. A shitload of employees, managers, and business owners either think this is a silly liberal conspiracy, or they're so ignorant that they actually think they can control normalcy. No matter how they do this, many people are going to get sick and die from completely avoidable stupidity. I really hope we try to mitigate that. That's why I thought it interesting the first bunch that are making plans are all Dems, all NE. Because we're talking about decisions that will greatly inform the extent of the next months' body count I honestly don't give a fuck. I'm concerned either way.
