Jolly mentioned in another thread that a lot of people use bleach and water the wrong way, and that reminded me of something I noticed a few days ago in person and on the YouTube “help” videos.
People are just wiping things down with Clorox and Lysol and thinking it’s all good. Clorox needs to sit on a surface for 4 minutes before it’s disinfected. Lysol needs 10 minutes. Just an FYI

It turns out that My Favorite Redhead is an absolute expert on this stuff, having sold disinfectant wipes and chemicals, and taught about them in boot camps around the country.
What you need to look at is:
Kill Claims: What the product is supposed to kill. You want a broad range of things killed.
Dwell Time: The amount of time the agent has to remain wet on a surface. A shorter dwell time is better. We are using Oxivir TB Wipes, which use hydrogen peroxide and have a one minute dwell time. If the wetness dissipates before the dwell tie you have to re-wet it.
