@xenon said in Senate Intelligence report on 2016 Russian election interference: @xenon said in Senate Intelligence report on 2016 Russian election interference: Quote from his article: Did the intelligence community competently conclude that Russia interfered in the 2016 campaign? No one is asking that question because, for the vast majority of people closely following the collusion caper, that would be like asking whether the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.. There’s one notable person who doesn’t agree with that conclusion. And that was my singular point with this thread. Yes - there’s much chatter about connecting this back with collision. I wasn’t talking about that. My point was more amazement on how much of a curve this President gets graded on. This is, and remains my only point. I've tried to post only simple facts. No, you go running towards a pre-determined tree, ignoring all the other trees in the forest that you are bouncing off of...

I think the consensus was ‘it’s too early to tell but this sure isn’t something you wanted to hear’.

For a million bucks, it better not be light on the sauce.

Jodi, I know how it is. Your experience is way too similar to mine. The ups and downs of it, etc.. Thought it was done, then wham, back with more lung issues. Mine felt like it was on the verge of becoming pneumonia. I've had that before a few times, so I'm familiar with the signs. I never took antibiotics, but was prescribed an albuterol sulfate inhaler. The docs here have to do a chest x-ray before prescribing antibiotics, and they aren't taking in patients unless it's become an emergency. I was skeptical and thought antibiotics might still be needed, but I am making progress. Temp is down, coughing much less, not feeling winded so easily, energy level much improved. You might benefit from an inhaler at some point, maybe now. It's a very slow recovery process. Mine has been over two months already, and it's not done yet. Be patient with yourself and stay in touch with your medical staff. They need to know what you are experiencing and how long.

Maybe a couple more roasts. Those are so handy for times when you need something that can require little prep and little attention for the cooking time. Low and slow in the oven with some veg in the roasting pan with the meat. It really is like a convenience food. Will feed the family a couple days. Makes delicious sandwiches, too. Do you want some precut stew meat? That's another time saver for when life is busy.

That's a hard thing to have to do, especially when there is already plenty of worry and stress in life. I hope there are plenty of her offspring from prior years still around to ease the loss and keep the rodents under control for you. They'll be tribute to Kitty's good mothering.

Delicious IF you like things like pork belly where there is a lot of fat. The sauce is amazing and provides a much needed acid bite with the fat. Not sure I would make it again, but at this point I am loathe to throw out the other two I bought. Tomorrow night is local ham steak and scalloped potatoes Skype dinner with friends.

I'm not a fan of price supports or government market propping at all. But this seems like a market (like the defense market) - where we want stability for strategic reasons. Given those circumstances - I don't know what works. I'm usually a pro-private industry with smart regulations sort of guy. Seems inappropriate here.

As I mentioned elsewhere, in early February I got sick. I had extreme fatigue, dry cough and body aches. No fever, however. Later in March I was talking to someone who works in a hospital lab and this person told me they were getting tons of negatives on flu tests. They even contacted other labs to see if they were getting the same results. They were. I understand there are false negatives in any test...but tons of them? And in other labs too?

Exciting. I remember reading a lot of these type of articles on the Mueller report. Feels like the opposite side of the media is having its fun now.

@taiwan_girl said in Earth Day Predictions from 1970: @Jolly But Jolly, it goes both ways. There are those on both sides who have positions so far to one side. I am sure there are people on the republic side (and maybe democrat side) who would prefer to eliminate any environmental laws and assume that the market place will put things in teh direction they are supposed to go. When you always ride the middle rail, all you get is a sore butt.
