This was an interesting quote from the article: "Hillary Clinton ‘winning’ Wyoming’s primary despite being summarily trounced by Bernie Sanders in the popular vote — with her 44 percent to his 56 percent — simply evidence the latest example of the farcical illusion of choice..."

You forgot former presidential candidate, and Intelligence Committee member Swalwell and his "relationship" with an alleged Chinese spy. [image: 1609266329556-screen-shot-2020-12-29-at-12.22.12-pm.png] Prior to the election CNN had two stories about Biden's laptop. One dealt with "The New York Post's dubious story" and the other speculating about it being Russian disinformation. A few salient clarifications. No one knows what is required to get to herd immunity. 70-90% is an estimate not backed up by direct observation (there’s no concrete data on this yet). He’s used the low end of that estimate at some points and high end at others.

If I recall correctly, Stravinsky made changes to "The Firebird" during his life so that copyrights would remain in his name.

We sometimes create a physical image of people who we have never met - and then when you see them, it in no way corresponds to the reality. In the other place we had a thread with most of our photos - a good reference though I look about 50 years older than I did then.

I can see both sides, but I agree - we have to ultimately come down on the side of First Amendment rights. Outside school it becomes a parental matter, in which I hope parents would have a backbone.

I had a bottle of Dom for y2k. We were on the streets of Copacobana, I paid a vendor to keep it in his ice. We walked up 5m before midnight and the motherfucker was just about to sell it. But we saved it.

You probably grew up listening to and watching his mother, no? yes and no. I remember her more from my university years. Can't say that I cared for her journalistic style; she was a terrible interviewer. David is a far more astute analytical pundit than his mother..

I’m not sure an ex-post executive order is going to hold, but it should probably make a bunch of would-be ‘vaccine entrepreneurs’ think twice.

@aqua-letifer said in Some people...: @klaus said in Some people...: Thanks for the clarifications, Mr. Obvious. Ax should go on a comedy circuit lamenting the horrors of airline food. No, airline food is actually quite good, especially if you fly some of the more reputable Asian airlines. Singapore Airlines, Eva Air, Southern China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, etc. serve pretty good food onboard. Even American Airlines' food hasn't been that bad in the last few years.
