@xenon said in That's right bitch. So quit trying.: and formed their opinions mostly on the fact that others in their circle were expressing the same opinion. Good point. In todays world, alot (maybe most) of the people get their news from the internet (and I dont mean reading on line newspapers). And these sites "follow" what you read and what is interesting to you, and just posts more the same type of stuff. After a while for example, if you are far to the right or far to the left, that is the only type of news you read and you lose out on a whole different perspective. Not so good in the long run.

I wonder if they'll be able to transplant any organ we ask for. Demands for strapadictomies might go through the roof.

I was kind of hoping they'd put all the politicians in a real secure location and then lock the door. On the outside.

Oh, man... we just took a jar of sauce over to a friend and just that few minutes out of the house cleared our sense of smell out. We walked back in and the sauce smell just hit. Oh yum.

At least one of the vaccines will get a bad reputation. If I was selling vaccine it would be OK with me if the other vaccines had a bad reputation. Russian gangsters will sell sugar water labelled as vaccine.

@jolly No longer necessary or economically feasible. We will be able ship to tide water without the Western Canada Select discount on product to the US once we have completed Line 2 of the Trans Mountain pipeline to Vancouver. The days of giving away our upgraded oil are over. https://energynow.com/2020/10/keystone-xl-faces-biden-risk-after-covid-made-project-less-crucial/ https://www.worldoil.com/news/2020/10/27/covid-19-may-finish-keystone-xl-for-good-with-a-little-help-from-biden Besides, the useless conservative provincial government here in Alberta dumped $1.5 billion into KXL last spring to appease their friends and benefactors in the heavy oil industry.

I believe science tells us that the fittest will survive. Why does the government hate science? Just let people fight it out. Money, privilege and fitness will survive. Things will settle down nicely with the right people protected from the virus.

I just saw yesterday that the average age of deaths in the UK is 82.4 years even with all the new surges. There are a number of contributory factors at that age. When a glass of water tips over which drop of water did it? But in many cases of Covid it wasn’t even the last drop or a contributory drop.

@jolly said in Victorian Farm: That type of life is hard work. I bet those farmers were eating 4000+ calories per day. If you've read "Undaunted Courage" about the Lewis and Clark expedition, that's not surprising. Those guys were apparently up to 5K calories per day.

They know when it’s a new device why not just put a policy in place where the tweet doesn’t go through until one acts on the email? Who would object to that? I mean how often does one use a brand new device to get on an app??? It’s the one reason I would believe for high profile individuals that if they deny the attack was via hacked password it might be true.
