I'm a "Notes" user as well, but I saw a promo for Evernote, and I thought I'd ask around to see if it's worth it. Is there a good place to read up on some of the "power user" features of the Notes app?

@mik said in Pence and Trump Finally Speak: @doctor-phibes said in Pence and Trump Finally Speak: @mik said in Pence and Trump Finally Speak: What does that have to do with anything? You don't get to call people who do not support your perception of the President as being deranged, and then, when you support a position with no apparent basis in fact, say "my perception is just as valid as everybody else's". When did I say I thought everyone who does not share my same perception was deranged? There are people whose pathological hatred of the man is pretty far out there and TDS is a real thing, but I have never said YOU were deranged. Well, not in that particular way, anyway. When I said 'you' I didn't mean you as an individual, but the people in general who say that those of us who can't abide the guy are deranged.

@lufins-dad said in 25% For: You know, we should probably separate into a bunch of smaller individual and sovereign states, but still be united by a governing body for purposes of trade and defense. We should also have some basic principles set as common law between these separate but equal states and assure some simple but basic rights and that's it. I wonder why nobody has ever thought to do so before?

Yep Trump should not have gone so hard on the stolen election theme. And we should have had some basic reasonable protection of the Capitol. The fact that we didn't certainly has played into the hands of "Trumpism" haters. All we had to do was reinforce the cockpit doors.

@loki said in One-Shot Vaccine from J & J: @lufins-dad said in One-Shot Vaccine from J & J: The bigger news about this vaccine is that it’s a more traditional vaccine and is not mRNA based. That should help with those that are scared about the Pfizer vaccine: If you are 75 should you be worried about RNA issues? Also, If the average age of death is 80 it seems like the pros and cons are a no brainer. I'm seeing a lot of people (and yes, a lot of them are over 75) reluctant to get the vaccine because of the mRNA base of the vaccine.

@89th said in Trump’s new video on Twitter (Jan.13, 2021): This video reminds me of this type of high school scenario: Bully (lying) to his friends, “hey guys, those two nerds in the corner called you ugly!” Bully (lying) repeats this daily over two months Bully (lying) on the last day, “you gotta fight like hell if you don’t want those nerds to keep doing that” The bully’s friends to over and beat up the nerds 7 days later as the cops look for the Bully, he goes out and says “hey, I think what they did was wrong, I never told them to do anything, they are not my friends” I hope you all realize that none of this happened. I understand the rule that if you say something about Mr. Trump, it is accepted as truth. But I know, you know in your hearts that this didn't happen.

Sounds promising, but I think the graveyard is full of drugs that worked wonders on mice but were never made to work on humans.

It was the only thing he had that would in any way differentiate between his approach and the Trump administration. The idea that the federal government can fix the administration of doses is ludicrous. It will remain a state and local issue and it will look very different in different places. FDF is a very risky scheme. Those who get the first dose should have their appointments set for the second at that time. And 'winning the hearts and minds'? Vietnamization didn't work there and it sure as hell won't work here in this climate.

True, but we’ll have a glut of vaccines by the end of the year. I’ll take an annual booster. Combine it with my flu shot.

@george-k said in No charger for you!: Back in October, Apple was being mocked by its competitors for not including a charging "brick" in the box with the new iPhones. I have, at last count, 3 of them sitting, unopened, in my desk drawer, so I certainly didn't miss it. https://twitter.com/Xiaomi/status/1316299756260352006 [image: samsung-charger-post.jpg] Well that didn't age well, did it? =-=-=-=-=-=-= Samsung is now believed, based on regulatory filings, to be removing the charger from the Galaxy S21, which is set to be unveiled on January 14. This may now be more likely considering that Samsung has deleted its "the most basic as a charger" post from social media entirely, as spotted by HTTech. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has also now confirmed on Weibo that the company's upcoming Mi 11 phone will not come with a charger due to environmental concerns. Jun said that smartphone users already have many chargers, so including another with the Mi 11 would contribute to an unnecessary environmental burden: Xiaomi Mi 11 is officially unveiled with brand new packaging, so light and thin. Behind the thinness, we made an important decision: in response to the call of technology and environmental protection, Xiaomi 11 canceled the included charger. Today everyone has a lot of idle chargers, which is both a burden to you and on the environment. We are well aware that this decision may not be understood or even be complained about. Is there a better solution between industry practice and environmental protection? =-=-=-=-=-=-= I'm so old that I remember when Apple was mocked for not including a floppy drive on the original iMac. Oh and back in 2016 Apple was mocked by Samsung for not including a headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) doesn't have a headphone jack.... One heads up, George . Their fast charging fat brick was first introduced with the iphone 11 generation (if I'm not mistaken). This is the long rectangular charging brick with a USB-C input rather than the smaller traditional square block. The big brick charges the newer iphones significantly faster - so it's worth picking up. By faster, I mean 15-20 mins is enough charge to get me through the day.

The President never needed twitter. His engagement was always in a different league. If he set up "www,Trumpthoughts, com" or something, people would visit it.
