Breaking: Hannah Lilly has been convicted for her role in an #antifa riot on 23 Sept 2020 in Portland. Antifa threw Molotov cocktails at police that night. She pleaded guilty to felony arson & felony criminal mischief. She's only sentenced to probation, community service & a fine I think it's disturbing, and an existential threat, that our fascistic pro-Trump culture would impose any penalty on this virtuous young white woman.

Jolly, that's assuming that there are any real conservatives remaining on the right side of the aisle. Conservatism whether in North America or Europe, has in the last 20 or so years, morphed into a frightfully distasteful brand of reactionary politics. Having said that, the Left has incoherently radicalized itself through its identity politics, intolerance and, abandonment of the working person to name but a few of its myriad of faults. But as far as conservatives and conservatism goes, although I'm not at all sure, I am hopeful that the real ones are still there and will soon make their rational Burkian voices heard again to the benefit of us all. Don't bother responding though. I have no desire to argue with you or anyone here about my stand on this or any issues I comment. The fact of the matter is that what I think and believe doesn't matter at all and, at the end of the day, I really don't care whether or not anyone shares my views or is outraged by my opinions or quips.

Shame they don't teach history anymore. I was watching a new episode of American Pickers last night, and they were picking a guy's extensive WW2 collection. The man said he often had teachers bring their classes through, for some hands-on history. Sadly, he said many of the kids did not even have a rudimentary knowledge of the major powers in WW2 or why the war occurred. And these are kids that are currently in a WW2 study module.
