    ROFL! Y'all are a stitch. 😀

I slept on it and decided against sending it back. Phibes is right; the feds would just waste it. This plan wasn't my idea, but if that's the way they want to play it, I certainly can put the cash to use.

Besides, it might even be a good idea.

    So thanks, everybody.

PS to Rainman. Cheer up! Now that you're officially a doctor, your fortunes are bound to change.

Same Rubio that turned his back on the Dem Impeachment dudes and walked out if the Senate Chambers?...

Yeah, that part is included in the video too, and is used to make the point of the video.

Fear not, the superior British strain will defeat the pathetic South African strain.

'If white people were still here, this wouldn’t happen'

I'll bet a lot of people believe that.

    I'll bet a lot of people don't.

I used to go camping in Ambleside, Cumbria, very close to where he lived, so it got a bit more interesting - the scenery is spectacular, and there's a lot of interesting stuff about him in the area, and you can visit the house.

I went to his house - his birthplace.

It was worth a couple hours, it was old.

It is closed now for covid.

The article tries to use something like the "transitive property" to draw conclusion, which usually does not work well.

(I used this one before I think)
A: President Trump supported Hillary Clinton in her Senate vote
    B: Jolly supports President Trump
    C : Jolly supports Hillary Clinton 😲

Did the article writer ever think:

Mail in balloting is easier to do, so of course there would be more people voting Voting was up tremendously in all states, both those states that voted for President Trump as well as voted for President Biden. For example: Voter turnout in Utah increased almost 13% in 2020 vs. previous elections (Colorado was up only 7.4%). President Trump won Utah. Hmmm, voter fraud? LOL People in Colorado just weren't happy with President Trump

It is the case here too. But starting Monday I can make an appointment along with half of the state.

My problem will be the earliest appointment will likely be months out...

L'Amour's take on culture clashes is still valid. When cultures clash, one will assimilate the other, whether peacefully or by force, eventually creating a single culture.

Yes, it may take a while, but it does happen. Obvsiouly, one culture will keep parts of its original culture, but cannot keep the whole thing.

An example of this is the loss of languages that has occurred over time.

Not sure if that is good or bad, but it is just the way it is.

As for Z, I think a movie with a series of vignettes would totally work. See the biographer walk into the room and just start the interview and fade into the scene... Of course, Z may not work due to the length. Maybe a Prime series?

You need a character to complete a full story arc, which is hard with serials. I think it's the main reason why there has never been a very true-to-form adaptation of Dracula.

Prime series? Absolutely. That'd be fun as hell.

AFAIK. The White Company has never been made into a movie or a mini-series. Or, it's prequel, which gives one a pretty big story arc, and a case where a major character fades into a lesser role.

I think you're right. Not that it's impossible, but for movies it's a lot more important to give viewers a central character to latch on to. For streaming TV, you can have several, but that's hard for stand-alone video.
