This country has the same birth right to citizenship as the US. The difference here being that is not constitutional but rather, contained in the Citizenship Act and therefore easily amended through introducing amending legislation in Parliament. There are currently some discussions about eliminating the birthright section going forward but not enough to spur any debate among legislators. I would certainly support its amendment and elimination.

The bad thing about the loss of the newspapers is that paper will get more and more of their news from a "silo". If you start reading articles, etc. that are more from the left (or right) side, search engines will start to recommend only those types of articles and you miss out on the other sides point of view.

The concept of company provided housing is still pretty common in Asia. It is considered part of teh overall compensation. You dont pay any rent or anything, but if you leave the company, you have to leave the house/apartment.
