Yep. It's a little disappointing that the solution is so "discrete".

It would be more interesting to reason about the distribution if the parents wouldn't die.

Probably the most popular mechanic old-school guy on YouTube, he's branching out into mini-documentaries. This one on Ford and the popularity of the first electric cars. Fun to watch, short and informative, and I mentioned Jolly because I know he'd find it a fun watch as a car guy, even though he probably knows all this stuff.

I think that it requires considerably less courage to call for an end to the lockdown than it does to actually make the decision to end it.

    That depends on the goal.

This is a very frustrating situation to me. You have to be so careful in how you word this or you'll (me) end up being called a racist. But there's two stereotypes that are literally coming into play here.. the redneck white boys out to "kill themselves a n______", and the black thug ghetto boy - which is see as the black version of a white redneck.

I don't know enough about the case to express an opinion on who shot John.. But what I see is a black guy switching from being a cooperative adult to a raging ghetto thug and back again, over and over, when some real and professional policemen are dealing with him, and then the latest event where a supposedly decent guy who just happened to be black was depicted as being hunted down by a bunch of redneck white boys.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. I don't know. I do know that based on his response in the video involving the uniformed officers he had the ability to go total ghetto in a split second, and that's his own fault. Even a racist redneck has the right to defend himself. I sure hope it turns out he wasn't killed because of his race, but this view among many blacks that it's somehow ok to act like a ghetto rat needs to stop too.

If you needed another reason to hate politicians...

    Here's another.

    https://www.fox32chicago.com/news/illinois-construction-workers-traveling-to-wisconsin-to-work-on-pritzkers-farm-amid-stay-at-home-order

A big construction project at Gov. JB Pritzker’s Wisconsin horse farm has some questioning whether the governor is honoring the spirit of his own stay-at-home order.

FOX 32 News watched Thursday as construction workers from Illinois crossed the border to work on the governor’s farm. Pritzker, though, says there is no double standard because construction workers are exempt.

FOX 32 wandered over the Wisconsin border into Kenosha County and found more than 20 construction workers -- nearly all from Illinois -- helping build a massive new home and several outbuildings on Pritzker's horse farm.

We did not get a warm welcome.

"Anything better to do?" one woman asked.

FOX 32’s Dane Placko: "Well, we're just doing a little story about the governor's property."

"Which is just really stupid," the woman responded.

    Dane: "Why?"

"Cause he's doing a great job, don't you think?" the woman said.

Pritzker has been generally praised for his handling of the COVID-19 crisis, which includes an appeal to limit travel.

But when FOX 32 obtained the permits for the 7,000 square-foot, $2.5-million project, we found a lot of people would be traveling from Illinois to build it.

All but one of the listed contractors is based in Chicago or its suburbs, and we saw cars and construction vehicles with Illinois plates leaving the project and turning south into the Land of Lincoln.

So the idea is that you should have sufficient testing capacity in order to open up so that you can catch any new outbreaks and contain them.

The administrations plan I think listed specific testing capacities suggested for different phases of opening, e.g. 'be able to test all your healthcare workers with X frequency'.

SO that means you need to have a certain PCR (antigen test) capacity.

Adding your antibody test capacity in order to meet the milestone means you won't really meet it.

I do not know much about this.

What was the benefit of being in it?

Why is it good to remove from it?
What are possible bad sides of removing from it?

    Kinda funny...Jewish guy, Gestapo tactics.

He locked them in a cell and then tortured and killed them? He murdered their families and stole all their money?

Kinda funny....Jewish guy, nothing whatsoever like the Gestapo.

Why even bring up the fact that he's Jewish?

I dunno. Lying on purpose to create perjury traps. Threatening to financially ruin families. Threatening to prosecute innocent people to obtain forced confessions.

Maybe Weissmann wasn't pulling gold teeth out of corpses, but he was definitely beyond the pale of what I would consider ethical investigative and prosecutorial conduct.

Sadly, not for the first time.

Why would a school want to increase the number of students who aren't smart?

I assume there is some kind of money angle. It only punishes the bright students and frustrates the dummies. Yes I said dummies, I am terrible.
