It will be interesting what comes out during the trial. I maintain there is a backstory yet to come out.
They knew each other. Either the cop was giving special punishment to Floyd to teach him a lesson, or, the cop was telegraphing a lesson to someone else via Floyd, but which included Floyd.
The fact that the other cops did virtually nothing, seems to indicate that they knew better than to cross the cop, or do anything other than gently try to convince him to get off his neck.

Think Serpico, and it all makes sense.

I like my beer like I like my women. Bitter and kept in the cellar.

I think it unlikely the Russians will be coming through the Fulda Gap anytime soon.

@Larry that's damn fine. I loved all the little "accents" he put into the melody line.

I didn't even mind the accordion too much.

In Atlanta today, the cops have backed up and are starting to let some rioters do what they may. Many have determined the possibility of criminal charges if the do the wrong thing in the heat of the moment or even if they appear to do the wrong thing through the wrong camera angle, is simply not worth it.

I do know Apple is having to provide armed security for its Atlanta employees, and none of those employees are allowed to wear corporate insignia. The employees were being attacked, for whatever reason.

Yeah, you can always still eat it, but from what I understand the key that distinguishes OK carbonara from excellent one is the timing and texture of the sauce.

Interesting. I'm sure that'll figure large in their trials.

Think so? The "I was only following orders" defense probably doesn't wash, particularly when you see a homicide occurring.

@jon-nyc Interesting article from 2011. I wonder when he'll get around to the late Beethoven sonatas. I'll look forward to that! I heard him play 'Gaspard' at the La Jolla summer festival a few years ago. He played with complete control of the dynamics. It was really very impressive. If he ever returns I'll go hear him again regardless of what he plays.

You should be specific about your predictions of everybody here if you're going to throw the grenade about how we're all totally predictable to someone of your level of perception and freedom of thought.
