They will have to do something. The "fairest" (but probably not something that will ever pass) is to charge per miles driven, almost like making every road a toll road. Singapore has something similar, but just for the downtown area. Having license payments higher for EV's is a good idea I think.

@LuFins-Dad said in Menstruating people: @Axtremus said in Menstruating people: In the men’s restroom, do you also see signage reminding people not to throw femininity hygiene product into the toilet? No longer feminine hygiene products… 555

@Axtremus IIRC, @Ivorythumper posted that in about 2006 or so.

She also says the economy was at a standstill, also completely untrue. The stock market had recovered all its losses and heading for record territory.

Good. This has been one of the best 'reparation' programs if the money is actually getting to the tribes and not funneled off.

Not sure what is guiding them. If they can win the primaries, even with the Dem's money, they can sure as hell win the general. They are making the exact same mistake they made in 2016 - assuming no one would vote for THOSE PEOPLE.

Wait…I thought us monkeys were the problem to begin with? One thing the article neglects to mention is the enormous amount of water it takes to grow almond trees. It’s staggering.

@George-K said in Can Trump win?: @xenon said in Can Trump win?: Putting every other fact about Trump aside. If he won, he'd still be President in 2028. He'd be 82. And that's the thing that people aren't talking about, but should. Legitimate point.

I'm not sure I understand the story. It seems to be the case that there is no criminal conviction for rape. So, from a legal perspective, no rape has taken place. If you read the story again but remove the rape part it doesn't sound so absurd anymore.

So all login services at any website then depend on Apple, Google etc.? Thanks, but no thanks. Big tech already has more control over our lives than they should. I rather continue to use passwords. I'd use these kinds of authentication if all required software were open source and runs locally on my device only.
