One of the most annoying things about the debate for me was Trump's hair.
Honestly I thought it was an improved look and was one of the first things I noticed.
I think I'd agree but it was just too shocking for me to appreciate the improvement.
@Jolly what's the issue with having a personalized podium? Trump made demands too, and that's ok. Like his demand that neither be allowed to stand on a platform. Weirdo. So she made an adjustment. Why can't she have a podium that is at a comfortable height for her? Or, not can't, but what's wrong with her asking for that? Edit: isn't that what America wants? A leader who's firm? Not a pushover. A demanding and commanding person?

@89th 5' 4" is the accepted average. I joke that I'm not even average at that because I'm apparently 5' 3.75" and only getting shorter
Oh yeah, it's so gross. I'm jealous of the ability to do so, but only when camping or similar situations. There's no need to subject housemates (I'm including family members there) to your urine splatter. Outside or somewhere that I don't have to clean - go for it! Otherwise, yep, take a seat. Plus that is only taking good aim and stream into consideration, nevermind poor aim and sprinkler streams that didn't even make it to the toilet bowl.
Edit: I'll embarrassingly admit I didn't know men do sit to pee until I lived with one. Like, I guess I knew that boys are taught sitting down, and then I just guessed that as teens/adults you stand to pee all the time (because society dictates) and then immediately turn to sit if number 2 is in order. It was as eye-opening as learning that some people stand up to wipe their rears.

Yes the meltdowns. Our (boy) is the one with the bigger emotional swings than our girls. This morning he had a bit crying episode because his spiderman shoes were too small and he was sad to see them go.
Honestly, I get it, mini 89th. I like my shoes too. Our neighbors have a nearly 3 yo girl and she looks at him with toddler confusion (almost a disdain 
) when he has meltdowns. They enjoy playing together but he almost always has a meltdown when it's time to leave.
@Renauda unfortunately I'm not at the moment beyond toddler songs and nursery rhymes. I'll get back to it, I know that. The kid really enjoys music so we do sing, play bongos, and do some piano plonking, but I don't really play any more.

Yeah, but that's the scary part in that you lose more control. I won't always know where he is at that age 
I am looking forward to having conversations with him and going more places. Learning what his interests are. Yeah, it's going to be a good time. For now I love watching him at the playground and laugh at poop with him.

@89th thanks! We're not sweating the accidents. It's funny and equally annoying. I think we'll try the naked for a weekend trick too. He's doing well overall but that might help. Last night he ran around like he was on fire too, and we knew it was because he was afraid to poop on the potty. We hung out in the bathroom reading, trying all the things we normally do, but nothing until he had the safety of his undies
adults are generally potty trained so we know he'll get it soon. Maybe a diaper hung in the potty would be good enticement. I think I'll try that.

You're welcome! If she finds herself around/in DC, I'd say if she sticks to the mall and touristy areas she'd be fine on her own during the day. At 15 I enjoyed visiting the Smithsonian museums/zoo (they're free!) and monuments with friends. We easily took the metro into DC and wandered around.
