Not anymore as I give no fuck about road bikes anymore. One was a Felt, I remember that.
Lowest rider weight limit of any Felt bike is 275 lbs.

I'm about the same size as you, and I know of no bike model that I couldn't get in my size (current general supply shortages in the bike industry notwithstanding).
It's completely fine that you don't give a fuck about road bikes, but I'm not sure whether your reasons for that are (still) sound.
Klaus knows how to use the internet! Very good, Klaus! What was the wheelset I was using, can you Google that for me? A lot of 'em have a weight limit of 80-90 kg or so. Would you like me to find examples of that or would you like to Google that, too? I've already started, so let me know if you'd like some links.
No, actually not "a lot of'em have weight limit of 80-90 kg". Why do you say that?
No let's go back to you disproving a conversation I personally had with a Google search, that's exactly what I want to do this afternoon.
I don't doubt your conversation. They didn't have a frame in your size. So what?
But you talked about bikes with a weight limit of 180lbs as a common case, then shifted to wheels, and claimed that the whole bike industry is "prejudiced over large and tall people", citing your size and weight as an example. I think that part of your statement isn't true, have given you some evidence that it is in fact not true, and still wonder why you'd make those absurd claims.
I can’t think of any good runners, professional or in my peer community who are over 180 pounds.

So I got Aniki, my single speed out.
He needed his tires pumped up. That's it. No rust, cables are fine, wheels are still nearly perfectly true, quiet as a mouse. I absolutely love singlespeeds. Aniki is the shit.Dude I remember riding it one time, it was SO awesome.
Also, glad you didn't die today. That too.

...and I thought the most awkward thing about this thread was going to be the thought of me in Lycra.
It would be too boring to not take irrelevant issues of irrelevant hobbies way too seriously...

You've never worked in the bike industry. You don't know the people I used to know. I didn't decide to get offended or quit jobs because of one conversation, or out of some arbitrary desire to pull some kind of bullshit victim card. I really don't care what you think about my personal experiences and I have nothing I need to prove to you. Write me off as being absurd.
Relax, I'm just pulling your leg a little You are taking these things too personally.

Yeah sorry, you're right in that it's a bit of a personal thing. On the surface it sounds stupid but it's a real phenomenon, and from shop floor guys to product managers there can be some serious shittiness about it.

You did indeed! I dunno how hilly Minnesoooooota is but I can still get away with one gear here. The DC area's got literally the one hill.
