My favorite part was when the main characters realized that everything important in their lives happened in that room, and they were so afraid to miss something important, they stayed there until they starved to death. It was a strange way to spend the last 80 minutes of the movie, watching them waste away, but it was poignant.

    Education is extremely important.

Well one character didn’t starve to death and the other characters didn’t technically die from starvation directly, if that makes sense.

Basically the twist is Tom Hanks ate his family. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

Just watched Heretic. Heard it was a movie made for Hugh Grant to have a dark role. Anyway, it is a slightly disturbing, but intriguing and immersive movie. Best watched without distraction. Maybe it is because of Hollywood’s lack of originality, but it was an enjoyable, unique film experience. Not a movie to win awards or to watch again, but worth a viewing IMO.

Watched the last Mission Impossible movie last night. Of course all the normal critiques about the plot being explained verbally so the audience knows what the mission is, or the implausibility of the scenes, but hot damn what a fun ride that was. Everyone talks about the plane scene but the sub scene was amazing.

That's the first positive review I've seen of it. Relative to expectations and hopes, at least.

I finally finished all 40 hours of Succession. Kept me entertained. Excellent acting, mature storytelling. Never dragged. The only low point for me was when the show took itself way too seriously during its most absurd plot point, where the election call of a single network before all the votes were in, was presented as a definitive act that caused that person to become president. I don't think that's how it works, but the show was deadly serious and somber about it.

The finale was excellent, and all the twists and turns felt about right.

Yeah agreed. Great writing, acting, and music!

I've been told to watch Succession due to the apparent close similarity of the head honcho to our former CEO. Maybe I'll give it a go.

I tend to find things quite uncomfortable when they resemble reality. My former boss so closely resembled Bill Lumbergh from Office Space that it literally took me four attempts to complete the movie.

                    I was only joking

Pluribus. On Apple TV. Sci fi end of world thing with.

For a maybe too many times used theme, it’s actually quite good.

                      I’m fucking hooked.

I've only watched the first episode, but it was brilliant, and very fresh take on post-apocalyptic SCIFI.
