I watched In the Land of Saints and Sinners last night. I thought it might be just another late period Liam Neeson vehicle where he's the old bad-ass, and there is some of that, but it's more serious. It's set in 70's Ireland during the IRA wars. The script is good, and the actors are excellent.

Cool. I'll start that when I finish Lioness S2. Always need an exercise series. Bumping up my exercise from 30 minutes to 45.
Don't expect anything flashy or exciting. Most of the "action" takes place in an office, a "situation room," and occasionally outdoors.
It does a great job of showing how tedious intelligence work is. Full of duplicity, bureaucracy, and flawed people.

Saw 1 episode of this. Struck me as being (mostly) medically accurate, if not a bit overblown with the crisis-every-5-minutes approach.
I guess there's some drama behind the scenes. After ER ended its run, there was going to be a spin-off series in which Noah Wylie's character goes on as an attending physician in the ER. For some reason it never got out of development, and a different studio decided to make "The Pitt."
Michael Crichton's estate is suing because "The Pitt" is basically what Grown Up ER was supposed to be.
Crichton's widow
"The Pitt’ is ‘ER. 'It’s not like ‘ER.’ It’s not kind of ‘ER.’ It’s not sort of ‘ER.’ It is ‘ER’ with the exact same executive producer, writer, star, production companies, studio and network as the planned ‘ER’ reboot.
Rather than afford Crichton the ‘created by’ credit he deserved, Defendants would pretend their reboot was not his creation at all, thereby enriching themselves to the tune of millions of dollars — potentially hundreds of millions or several billion dollars in success — and depriving Crichton’s heirs of their rightful share."

Landman is pretty good.
Started it today.
Very, very, Taylor Sheridan - that's not a bad thing.
Not quite as soapy as Yellowstone, but there's definitely some soap in there.
If for no other reason than Jon Hamm...there's Billy Bob Thornton who is just fantastic. Probably as good as he was in Goliath.
Also more T & A than Yellowstone, so that might be a good thing.
Just a couple of episodes in, but very binge-worthy.
Cool, I plan to watch that eventually.
Right now I'm watching two shows that were very popular a couple years ago but I never watched them at the time (very normal for me... LOL). I'll mention the show titles when I'm done with the first seasons, since I'm highly sensitive to spoilers, even accidental hints.
@George-K ok finished one of the shows (both seasons of Squid Game). It was enjoyable and a fun look into human/group dynamics when confined, which is always a trusted storyline approach. I specifically liked the massive pivot of the main character in the last episode of the first season and first episode of the 2nd season.
