Heard anything about Scorsese’s The Saints on Fox Nation? Looks interesting. $2 a month.

Landman is pretty good.
???
Another Tyler Sheridan show about the oil business in West Texas. Thornton, Hamm. Pretty good.

Thornton alone makes it worth while.

Hope this link works to at least show the clip without requiring an instagram account. Haven’t seen the show yet and I know we’ve discussed these petroleum facts before but what a good delivery:

Humans vs Hamsters

A nice, relaxing comedy.

Yes. Not "too deep" and the episodes are just short enough.

This might be pretty good. Starts Jan 9.

Plowing through "The Old Man" season two.
I didn't realize that Joel Grey was in it - he's 92 years old.

I think I might finally get to Fallout, for a treadmill show.

Totally satisfying. With the likes of Bridges, Lithgow et al, how could it not be?
Sure, there are some slow spots and some plot sidetracks. Nevertheless season two ends with a sense of completion - the story's been told and we're done...
...other than this one thing. Whatever happened to....?
If renewed, a third season will answer that question.
When I grow up, I wanna be Jeff Bridges (other than the lymphoma part, of course).

Caught the first two of this while waiting for the Comcast repair guy...
Link to videoGetting great reviews. So far, I'm at about 3 stars (out of 5). Stretches credulity a bit too much (one of the reasons I didn't love "Lioness").

Just wasted two hours of my life watching Blitz. I watched it largely for the subject matter and that Steve McQueen seems to be a hot new director. No real arc, no character development, minimal dialogue. Blech.

I was going to look at it. Thanks for the heads up.
By the way, I read, somewhere, that The Day of The Jackal is coming to broadcast TV at the end of this month.

NBC is set to broadcast the pilot on US television on 30 December 2024.[22]

I'm looking forward to that. I love seeing novels made as series or miniseries. So much better to tell the story.

That was the first Forsyth book I read.

Me too. They could do a new book each season.

The films based on Forsyth:

Jackal was great.
Odessa file was ok, but not great.
