People in charge of public health don’t usually think that way. They tend to recommend policies that will reduce the spread and save lives.

Imagine if Trump hadn’t made the mask an issue how easy it would have been to get more compliance. There is no real reason the mask is a big deal.

Fauci is an infectious disease expert. Trump is not. In fact, Trump was right about more than Dr. Fauci was, after most of the smoke has cleared.
