I didn’t know she was bipolar but that makes sense now.

[Jon] I thought this was a knickers thread. [/Jon]

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Britney Spears testified in court about her conservatorship.

Oh the grounds that liberty includes your rights to do stupid things as long as your antics do not hurt others, I don’t see why a grown person like Britney Spears need to remain under a conservatorship. She no longer has custody of any minor, so who else is she going to hurt without conservatorship?

I have every confidence in the courts to handle this.

The fact that this is national news is quite telling regarding the news media.

                    It's her money.

As she gets older, fatter and has even less talent, she'll bump and grind her way down to the casino circuit, before finally retiring to a trailer park somewhere on the West Coast.

                      https://www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2021/09/29/jamie-spears-suspended-britney-spears/

Jamie Spears, father of Britney Spears, is suspended as her conservator

[Britney’s lawyer] Rosengart issued a statement to the media: “To the extent Mr. Spears believes he can try to avoid accountability and justice, including sitting for a sworn deposition and answering other discovery under oath, he is incorrect and our investigation into financial mismanagement and other issues will continue.” On Wednesday in court, Britney Spears’s legal team argued against immediate termination of the conservatorship along similar lines of reasoning: Immediate termination could hinder a potential investigation into the conditions of the conservatorship. (In a court filing last week, the father’s lawyers noted that “granting the Petition For Termination would render some of the other pending matters moot.”)
