I posted this elsewhere. Regardless of the guilt or innocence of these doofuses, does their alleged (and it's important to remember that this is alleged) crime warrant solitary confinement?
What other alleged crimes qualify for this type of incarceration?
Yeah, Portland, I'm looking at you.

Did I misread the article in that it seems the treatment applies to everyone and not just those arrested in connection with January 6?

No, you didn't misread. It's a travesty, no matter if it's a January 6th prisoner, or not. However, many of the January 6th prisoners are imprisoned for relatively minor offenses.
Note: The Jan. 6 defendants are being held in pretrial detention on charges ranging from knowingly entering or remaining in restricted grounds without authority to conspiracy, assault and obstruction of an official proceeding. -

Jolly, try clicking where you think the Edit button is (beneath the blue 5 out of 5 bar), and the popup might appear.

Everything the gummint does is codified and documented, right? I mean there are standards
other than when to shoot an unarmed protestor with no warningand policies which need to be followed. What are the standards policies and procedures for solitary confinement?

They're trying to cloak this under COVID protocol.

Doofusses who take a few selfies are just asking for it.
They'll be lucky if they ever see the light of day again.
