Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.

I remember reading that probably 50 years ago when I was in grade school. Interesting stuff, though I don't think they mentioned Marilyn Monroe at the time...

Not surprisingly, the ring caused a sensation when it was made available for purchase on an auction by Royal jewelers Wartski.
“This ring is one of the prestigious 'Marlborough Gems', having previously been in the collection of the Earl of Arundel.
It is crafted entirely of sapphire. Very few hololiths exist and I would argue this is the best example you can find.
We believe it belonged to the debauched Emperor Caligula and the engraving shows his final wife Caesonia,” Kieran McCarthy, Wartski director said.
Caligula’s ring was finally sold for close to £500,000 in 2019.

Given what people pay for a pair of socks from Elvis, or a burned toast resembling the face of Jesus, 500,000 $ sounds like a rather low price for an item like that.

Humbled and improved, you would return, wearing your Caligula ring, now engraved with a simple “H” in honor of this greatest transformative experience of your life.
