Flynn: Overthrow the government
-
Jesus.
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn said over the weekend that a Myanmar-like coup — in which the military overthrew a democratically elected government — “should happen” in the U.S.
Appearing in Dallas at a QAnon conference, Flynn was asked during a Q&A session that was shared in a Twitter video: “I want to know why what happened in Myanmar can’t happen here?”
After cheers from the crowd died down, Flynn responded: “No reason. I mean, it should happen here.”

That guy's like somebody out of Doctor Strangelove.

He CAN still be court-martialed and I think it may be a legitimate step, here.
-
I'm not sure the "I went to school on the short bus" defence is going to work here.
-
Two things:
He needs to pronounce the name of the country correctly. LOL
How does someone like that reach a pretty high position of power? Maybe the US military does a good job of requiring you to follow orders and keep your personal thoughts inside?

I think that what happened to him, the way he was railroaded, hounded, and facing imprisonment broke something in him. I think he now sees the establishment of both parties as being illegitimate and immoral.
If you went through what he did, you might, too.

I get that but you don’t don’t do yourself any favors by going full nut job. He eviserated his legacy pretty quickly. The name Flynn is now just a fringe idea.

He was railroaded and crucified for nothing.
Pardon me if I cut him some slack...

I have no problem cutting him slack but if I were his friend I would tell him that he spent decades building a personal brand and now he is systematically destroying it for something that is not even going to be a thing in a couple of years.

Oh, I think he quite likely could and should be court-martialed over this...

He's no longer in the military.
