Swedish model and the economy

I've often asked the question, 'does the Swedish model mean that it's possible to not implement social distancing and still not have cases grow out of control? Or does it mean that Swedes will do a reasonable job of social distancing without coercion?'
(put aside for now whether their case and death rates count as success or not)
One indicator would be the economic results. If the economy takes the same hit as countries with stricter lockdowns, it argues for the second interpretation.
The Swedish central bank put out some estimates of the impact on GDP. It's pretty much in the ballpark with the UK, Germany, Spain and even Italy if you take their higher estimate.

It's an example of a country where people are still going to work and the kids are still going to school.
