Air Fryer?

I use mine pretty often. Heat up frozen dinners, cook ribs, chicken. I almost never use my regular oven anymore.

We have one. It’s not equivalent to a convection oven. The air flow is much more intense. Makes a big difference for fries. Also, easier to clean if you grill a chicken.
Even though fries turn out better than in a regular (convection) oven, they are still not nearly as good as the fatty originals (but less calories, obviously).

I’ll put ours right next to the Instapot we’ll never buy. They might be great, but I am so tired of “stuff”.

@George-K Don’t mind me... I’m sure the instapot is great, as is the air fryer... I’m just tired of all the “stuff” that accumulates to “make life easier”. The storage of all this stuff is making my life anything but easy.

I find that my air fryer allows me to eat more and more frequently, thereby reducing the risk of starvation.

Yes. Our kitchen is full. any new arrival requires the ritual sacrifice of an equivalently sized existing item.

Everything I'm seeing in reviews, etc seems to indicate that an air fryer is really nothing more than a countertop convection oven. YOu're limited in the amount of food you can put in, and if you overload it, food might be unevenly cooked.
I'll keep researching.

Yes, that is an issue. However, the cooking speed is often faster than my eating speed, so to mitigate, I'll fill it with food while eating the previously cooked batch.

I use mine pretty much every week.
What do you use it for?

One of my go-to dishes is chicken with leeks and cream. I can take a frozen chicken breast, or two, and have it cooked, ready to shred into bite-sized pieces in 20 minutes cooking time.
Chili.
Great pork chops - well done, but juicy.
Steamed veggies, corn on the cob.
Pot roast.
Beef stroganoff.
I've actually made lasagna in it, tho Mrs. George didn't care for the non-traditional look.
