So, they don't care about the planet enough to get rid of the old stuff, just to virtue-signal about the new.
If eating beef is wrong, I don't want to be right.
And obviously, the environmental concerns are bound to be a lot more complicated than Beef=Bad.

As well, just because it’s complicated does not mean Beef≠Bad. Personally, I have no problem acknowledging that raising beef cattle makes a huge impact on the environment and still eat beef. I think I eat more lamb/mutton than beef, yet I also acknowledge that, pound for pound, lamb/mutton has an even bigger environmental impact than beef. :man-shrugging:
