In a nutshell....

@Doctor-Phibes so, in other words, you’re saying she’s right!

Alt right.

Sometimes, The Resident doesn't even have to open his mouth to lie...
Listening to Bongino a bit today and he was talking about Biden's visit to Ukraine. For those that don't know, Bongino was a NYC cop and later a Secret Service agent (Presidential Protection Detail, Bush 43 and early Obama).
While he said Biden's visit was a gutsy move, he still thought it ill-advised from a security standpoint.
But what he did think was pure political theater was the reaction from Biden and his security staff when the air raid siren sounded. Biden's detail took no action. That means one of two things:
-
The detail did not know that was an air raid siren. That's simply ludicrous. They know. It ain't the movies, they wouldn't have manhandled the president, but they would have placed him quickly into a secure location.
-
The detail did know, because it was a set-up. Just a little bit of added theater to lend some drama and spice to the tv shot. That's why they didn't take any immediate action.
The number 2 possibility is what they call a lead pipe cinch.

Whomever’s idea it was, will probably still get a raise.

Yeah, he's full of shit all right.
Full disclaimer: I was pretty homophobic in high school, too. I know, hard to believe. I was probably compensating for something or other.

@Doctor-Phibes you don't need to be sheepish about it with us.

@George-K said in Biden's Lies:
My God...
That was no slip of the tongue.
That was real.
Right off the whitehouse web site:
Extreme MAGA Republicans’ proposals would ship manufacturing jobs overseas, in a crushing blow to states from Ohio to Georgia to Arizona – and would provide a windfall of economic benefits to China.
They would increase health care premiums for nearly 15 million Americans and make the biggest Medicare benefits cut in decades, forcing America’s seniors to pay more for prescription drugs so Big Pharma can see new taxpayer handouts.
They would defund the police, weaken our competition with China, and slash border security funding. All so that the super-wealthy and corporate special interests can enjoy their tax breaks and cheat on their taxes.

According to court records obtained by Fox News, prosecutors revealed that Hunter Biden had received a sum of $664,000 from a “Chinese infrastructure investment company.” During the court proceedings, Hunter Biden confirmed to Judge Maryellen Noreika that the money came from a company he established in 2017 with the chairman of the CCP-supported CEFC Energy conglomerate, who has since disappeared.
“I started a company [in 2017] called Hudson West, your Honor, and my partner was associated with a Chinese energy company called CEFC,” Hunter Biden said in court.
“Who was your partner?” Judge Noreika asked.
“I don’t know how to spell his name, Yi Jianming is the chairman of that company,” Hunter replied.
“$664,000 from a Chinese infrastructure investment company — is that one of the companies we’ve already talked about?” the judge continued.
“I believe so, yes, your Honor. I believe CEFC.”
