How funny, I finally cut my own hair today too. Just used clippers and hair guards #3, 6, and 8. It didn't turn out so bad, but I definitely would prefer not doing that each time. Heck, the hair cleanup alone was a PITA!

Yeah. Thinking of moving it to my back porch next time. Still would sweep it up, but wouldn’t worry so much about the little stuff I missed.

I use a pair of scissors I also use to open Amazon packages and cases of chicken fillets.
Just kidding. I of course use a box cutter for the Amazon packages.

I’ve been cutting my own hair for years. My method is to remove the bath mat, take the dyson stick vac in with me, strip down and just vacuum it all up before getting in the shower. I don’t let it fall into the sink.
If you need to wet your hair to get an even cut, then it doesn’t work.

Good feedback. I used an old bedsheet to cover the bathroom and then a dyson stick to vacuum anything it didn’t catch.

I cut hubby's hair out in the yard, with a towel around his shoulders then he shakes out the towel before he goes inside for a shower.
Supposedly, human hair clippings will deter some animals. I'm not convinced that works around here.

They say it keeps elephants away.
How many elephants have you had in the yard since you started cutting his hair?

Letting it grow.
Ditto.
Hopefully I'll get to a barber before an old geezer pony tail becomes necessary.
::shudder::
I dunno. Might be kind of fun. But even when it was quite long - past my shoulders - I couldn't do a pony tail. Maybe I just didn't know how.

Now you have a wife to help you do that.

Mik, did you notice how George just waltzed right by the man bun post?

Sure did. George would be SO samurai in a man bun. Especially with that big bird on his shoulder. And an eyepatch.
Oh, wait.. now he's a pirate.

Bought Clippers
Copper I’m glad you’re here to remind me that you play golf every day (I wish I could) and have clippers at your local Target (wish I did).
I actually bought the clippers last August. Been buzzing the head since then, it makes hair care so easy.

Karla cleaned up my neck a little the other day. Now she thinks that she has enough courage to give it a try, but I think I’m only another two weeks from being able to let it grow out...

Dude, I don't quite know how to break this to you, but we've all been washing like every day throughout the entire lockdown.
