@89th when to you move?
We will probably move mid June. Our youngest (5 months) just got one of those head band/helmet things to fix a flat spot so we want to wait until he doesn’t look like R2D2 before we move.
We are listing our current home this coming Friday, 4/23.

I feel like that thing is very highly prescribed now.
One of my kids had it - a few friends of ours had it.
Not sure how much it actually does, TBH (since heads to round out naturally).
But it did help her avoid a few knocks on the noggin'

What’s wrong with a little flat spot?

Agreed that it seems much more common now.

Interesting that many kids in Taiwan - the back of their head is flat because that is how they are laid out in bed when they are very little. It is not really noticeable when you have hair and does not really seem to have any effect on brain growth or how smart or dumb you are.

Listed our current home on Friday, under contract by Sunday evening!
We priced it aggressively (higher than it’ll appraise for), and only received one offer after 16 showings, but that one offer didn’t know they were the only offer so they bid above ask and waived inspections. Woot!

That´s amazing--congrats, 89th!
I cannot imagine waiting inspection when purchasing a house. Is that just the norm right now? My place is a condo that had been on the market for a few months when I found it, so an inspection was just a given.

Thanks! @Optimistic our place is pretty simple, so there isn’t as much to inspect as a bigger house, maybe that’s why.

Got lots of family to help? Big moving truck to haul everything? That's a lot of work to move stuff. Maybe just hire the Two Guys and a Truck movers.
That's a company in our area. Maybe they are part of a franchise or chain. Not sure.

They are. In our area they get mediocre reviews, and I don't know if they do out-of-state moves.

Ah the next step....we will hire a moving company of some sort. Luckily we don’t have too much to move. My wife will fly up with the two kids (3 years and 6 months) and I will drive one car. It takes 17 hours if you don’t stop at all.
Also Brenda...I would say 20 out of 20 call workers all have the same reaction when I say I’m moving to Minnesota, “isn’t it cold there?”
I tell them I did my own analysis and from April to October, each month has more pleasant days there than DC, and in the winter at least it’s snow and you know what you’re getting, whereas in DC it’s always on that disgusting freeze slush line
