I can see Charles passing. I think he'd just as soon not be bothered at this point. That's an advanced age to start.

Edward VII had to take over when he was an old codger, too.
The women seem to live longer than the men in that family, at least relatively recently.

One thing I do know, is that if Charles is Anything close to how he is portrayed in the show, someone needs to take him out side and put a bullet through his head, the miserable fuck.
