Now the fake news media will claim that Trump wants you to inject yourself with disinfectant.
But, let the record show, he asked that we test it first.

The man is thinking out loud. People do that, you know. He's not medical, he's just brainstorming off of snippets of information he's heard, like the UV light effect on viruses. He did not advocate anything.
When people use stuff like this to criticize, it just confirms the TDS diagnosis.

He's not a virologist. And why you think it's a good idea for the US president to think out loud in front of the press about a pandemic is beyond me.

Especially since we know the risk of a handful of yahoos taking him up on the testing idea is a real possibility.

At least he’s never worn a tan suit.

Pro tip: the correct way to govern is to think things through before talking publicly about those things.
Defending the indefensible just because it’s uttered by Trump is TDS.

You do realize his comments yesterday will directly lead to at least a few deaths and injuries, right? Completely unnecessary and reckless. I do enjoy his candid and "alpha" leadership style, I truly do, but holy crap if he just used the phrase "I don't know" (or didn't say anything at all) it would do him a world of good.

On tomorrow’s episode of Trump does science:
“What if you get a guy to swallow a bar of soap, then shit it out real fast? Have we researched that?”

Sorry Jolly, but that's bullshit.
If Joe Biden came out with this stuff, you'd be all over him.
And he shouldn't be brainstorming on live TV. He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. This is a serious business.

Trump would clearly be a better president if he would a) stop tweeting, b) stop talking.

The disinfectant piece is....well, stands alone. But the UV light piece is a little more intriguing:
https://news.columbia.edu/ultraviolet-technology-virus-covid-19-UV-light
Columbia researcher David Brenner believes far-UVC light—safe for humans, but lethal for viruses—could be a ‘game changer.’

If Mr. Obama wondered about injecting disinfectant they would give him another nobel prize.
And this one would be well earned.

It's obvious it's unfiltered. Vintage Trump. It's just a thought thrown out there, like normal people do in normal conversation.
A bit refreshing, compared to the normal prepackaged doublespeak from most swamp creatures.
