I think sarcastic is one of those words that means different things to different people.

Too bad, it could be a good word.

Imagine being the intern who was assigned to scour the internet to try to reverse engineer something sensical out of Trump's comments yesterday. After a few hours you find this and immediately tell your bosses, who grin openly as they post it on their site.

Then 10m later Trump says he was just being sarcastic.

He wasn't being sarcastic -- he was just lashing out at the trolling journalist.

What's more interesting to me is how suddenly the whole Left marches lockstep against investigating new hypothetical directions in medical innovations.

I for one am honestly enjoying DJT as President these days. He doesn't actually do much (no laws being passed, governors are running the frontline response).

He's pure comedy gold - and it's not all unintentional. The Trump whispers that follow-up on the comedy would hands-down be favorites for the gold if mental gymnastics was an Olympic sport.

Who wants boring news during a pandemic lockdown?

Regardless of "Left" or "Right," "whole" or otherwise, it certainly seems reasonable that most people find would it imprudent for a senior government official to publicly suggest injecting or ingesting disinfectants in the middle of a pandemic.

It is one thing to fund an NFS or NIH project that studies injection or ingestion of disinfectants into humans, it's quite another to suggest trying injection/ingestion of disinfectants to the general public on national media.

              That's pretty sloppy, IT.

They're only against investigating the medical innovations Trump mentions. That's certainly not all of them.

And they're not even against those because they're providing a public service by dismantling them. They're not against them because they hate Trump "in lockstep" as you might put it. They say what they do because they have to compete with Netflix and Facebook for your attention, and outrage over what Trump says is their most effective tool. Conservative media have tools of their own but the marketing is the same.

              Please love yourself.

We can stipulate that it was a stupid thing for the President to say. Sarcasm is not a good excuse for the role.

It is also quite the tragedy to admit that we fear that people will inject or ingest Lysol and or Clorox. I need to understand what people are thinking when they think people will do that? How does this happen? Where did society fail these people?

See, this is why Trump needs to childproof his remarks. As we just saw, there are people out there whose reasoning skills can only handle e everything literally.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on.

"Move activities outside" seems ridiculous already as a virus prevention tactic.

                              Education is extremely important.

                                Why? Makes sense to me.

I’m 4 years into giving conscious thought about infection risk and have always considered the more open the space the better, even without the sunlight factor.
