@mark said in Well this sucks:
Good luck, jon! I hope it goes quickly.
+1
Check in. It’s pretty streamlined I must say. A sign said they were doing 8900 vaccines here today.
Impressive, and big!
At Northwestern they had (I believe) about 32 stations for injections, with the number administered so far being updated on screens.
This was Mrs. George's first shot, at about 11 AM:
The shot area. I can only get a small part in frame. It’s huge
And done. It was fast. Maybe they fixed the delays, or maybe they just start later.
Interestingly I don’t need to make a second appointment. Just walk in with this card, any time between 3 and 6 weeks hence.
Excellent, Jon. Glad to hear it went well.
(is it appropriate to change the title of this thread now?)
Good deal!
Very cool.
Congratulations, @jon-nyc, one jab closer to a piano party.
@aqua-letifer said in Well this didn’t suck after all:
@jon-nyc yes,
That is great news.
Similar to @89th - I'm getting optimistic. Infrastructure builds on itself - and this covid vaccine is starting to come into place.
Days are getting longer. It's getting warmer. Hoping for a good summer.
Congratulations!
Ditto!
That's excellent news! So glad for you, Jon.
Congrats Jon.
I'm surprised they didn't give out appointments for the second dose. What are you going to do? Call them in 3 weeks time and ask if the line is long?
I just got the Moderna vaccine - second dose on 4/1
I was there and back again in less than an hour.
Small town operation - 2 nurse stations, no waiting

Glad for both of you folks. Hopefully, this things gets beaten down.
Good for you, Copper! Has your bride gotten hers yet, too?
