Well this didn’t suck after all
-
Tuesday was well below freezing.
Tomorrow should at least be in the mid to high 30s.
-
My SIL was there Monday afternoon and waited 4 hours

As an aside...Mrs. George went for her 2nd dose today. This is being done at Northwestern, where she has her docs.
The longest delay we had, after finding a parking spot in the garage, was waiting for the elevator to take us downstairs to the site. There was no line to register, and no line to go into the actual vaccination site. From driving downtown, parking, getting vaccinated, sitting in observation and driving home was about 2 hours.

Not long ago people were saying the same thing about this very site. This is new.

Wife got her first dose (Moderna) today. Did it at the local pharmacy, 1100 appointment, no waiting.

Thanks man.

Thanks guys, hitting the road now.

Check in. It’s pretty streamlined I must say. A sign said they were doing 8900 vaccines here today.

The shot area. I can only get a small part in frame. It’s huge

And done. It was fast. Maybe they fixed the delays, or maybe they just start later.
Interestingly I don’t need to make a second appointment. Just walk in with this card, any time between 3 and 6 weeks hence.
