    It is two different games.

The high moral character game is nothing like the political game.

It's like saying an NFL lineman doesn't seem like a good family man, because he is bashing everyone.

When a politician is politicking he usually isn't playing the high moral character game, although he might pretend to play that game.

Why do we always elect the worst people?

Good people don't go into politics?

I have yet to see one.

With the third accusation things are getting real for the good Democrat.

Kavanaugh had one, from his youth, with no corroboration. And that was very real.

He's done, at this point it's just a matter of how long he wants to drag it out. As we saw a year ago with school closings, it takes him some time to traverse the stages of grief.

                    Stand-in?

                    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cuomo-accuser-charlotte-bennett-sexual-harassment-training/

When asked Wednesday if he had completed sexual harassment training, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the "Short answer is yes." But Charlotte Bennett, one of the women accusing the governor of sexual harassment, said his office director completed the training for him in 2019.

"In 2019, he did not take the sexual harassment training," Bennett told "CBS Evening News" anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell. "I was there. I heard [the office director] say, 'I can't believe I'm doing this for you' and making a joke about the fact that she was completing the training for him. And then I heard her at the end ask him to sign the certificate."

Stephanie Benton, Cuomo's office director, "categorically denies the exchange," according to a statement from the governor's office that added, "this is not true."

"Some state employees take an online course; for Executive Chamber Senior Staff, the training takes the form of personal review of documentation," Beth Garvey, special counsel to the governor, told CBS News. "The Governor did this review of the mandated material and completed the training."

The reality is the number of men who would be in the same level of hell is shockingly large. When the standard is I think I’ve been hit at work, almost all the women I know have multiple stories.

So Cuomo is not going to lose his job for decisions that killed tens of thousands of nursing home residents and then covering it up, but he is going to lose his job for making ridiculous passes at women?

Don’t get me wrong, he is an asshole and treated these women poorly and this behavior shouldn’t be tolerated, but there is a bit of a disconnect here.

                                      Number 6

Still waiting for Gov. Cuomo to agree to the Kavanaugh standard for determining guilt. But, that's different, of course.

A sixth woman has leveled allegations of sexually inappropriate conduct against Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, accusing him of touching her without consent late last year during an encounter at the governor's mansion, the Times Union has confirmed.

The alleged incident took place after the woman, a member of the governor's Executive Chamber staff, had been summoned to the mansion to assist the governor with a work-related matter. The woman's supervisors recently became aware of the allegation and alerted the governor's counsel of it on Monday.

An official close to the matter on Tuesday confirmed to the Times Union that the new allegation had been made, although Cuomo, during a news conference hours later, denied knowledge of it.

In response to detailed questions about the handling of the woman's allegations by the governor's office, Beth Garvey, acting counsel to the governor, said: "All allegations that we learn of directly or indirectly are going promptly to the investigators appointed by the attorney general."

Cuomo, in a conference call with reporters on Tuesday afternoon, did not deny touching women, but repeated his statement from last week that if he did it was not "inappropriate."

"First, I’m not aware of any other claim," he said. "As I said last week, this is very simple, I never touched anyone inappropriately … I never made any inappropriate advances ... (and) no one ever told me at the time that I made them feel uncomfortable. Obviously, there are people who said after the fact they felt uncomfortable."

The woman has not filed a formal complaint with the office of the governor.

Her allegations were reported to the governor's counsel by other employees in the Executive Chamber. The information also was relayed by the governor's office to the attorney general's office, which is coordinating an investigation into multiple allegations of sexual harassment that have been made against the governor.

The sixth woman could not be reached for comment. She is a member of the governor's Executive Chamber staff.

A state congresswoman said that if one more woman speaks up (because, you know, three isn't enough, amirite?), he should resign.

                                        Two more accusers this morning.

The reality is the number of men who would be in the same level of hell is shockingly large. When the standard is I think I’ve been hit at work, almost all the women I know have multiple stories.

The reverse is almost equally true. Work in a place with a lot of women and you will find out.
