So, the obvious question is: "Why were you allowed to cover your brother when things were (ahem) going (supposedly) well for him?"

"CNN has to cover it." Oh, I see. Shamed into it, I suppose.

Why do we always elect the worst people?

Good people don't go into politics?

I have yet to see one.

Mark, I think you know the answer. 5555

I think you are a good person. Would you WANT to go into politics? LOL

The best people for the politics jobs are those that would not want to run.

I'm sure there are plenty of high moral character politicians. But they are still doomed to be considered monsters by the opposition, for ideological reasons.

            It is two different games.

The high moral character game is nothing like the political game.

It's like saying an NFL lineman doesn't seem like a good family man, because he is bashing everyone.

When a politician is politicking he usually isn't playing the high moral character game, although he might pretend to play that game.

With the third accusation things are getting real for the good Democrat.

Kavanaugh had one, from his youth, with no corroboration. And that was very real.

He's done, at this point it's just a matter of how long he wants to drag it out. As we saw a year ago with school closings, it takes him some time to traverse the stages of grief.

                            Stand-in?

                            https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cuomo-accuser-charlotte-bennett-sexual-harassment-training/

When asked Wednesday if he had completed sexual harassment training, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the "Short answer is yes." But Charlotte Bennett, one of the women accusing the governor of sexual harassment, said his office director completed the training for him in 2019.

"In 2019, he did not take the sexual harassment training," Bennett told "CBS Evening News" anchor and managing editor Norah O'Donnell. "I was there. I heard [the office director] say, 'I can't believe I'm doing this for you' and making a joke about the fact that she was completing the training for him. And then I heard her at the end ask him to sign the certificate."

Stephanie Benton, Cuomo's office director, "categorically denies the exchange," according to a statement from the governor's office that added, "this is not true."

"Some state employees take an online course; for Executive Chamber Senior Staff, the training takes the form of personal review of documentation," Beth Garvey, special counsel to the governor, told CBS News. "The Governor did this review of the mandated material and completed the training."

The reality is the number of men who would be in the same level of hell is shockingly large. When the standard is I think I’ve been hit at work, almost all the women I know have multiple stories.
