Interesting but that seems slower than the normal way of opening the bag and just putting it in.

It is slower, if anything it adds a step

don't think it would work very well with lidded trash cans.

I just did a comparison. It’s definitely slower.

That being said, my “trash bag” life hack are with smaller trash cans that I use grocery bags for:
Always put a few extra bags below the bag that you put in the trash can, that way when you take it out, a bag is sitting there ready to be used!

+1. I regularly reuse disposable grocery bags as trashcan liners, and I often leave extra bags in or near the trashcans.

The challenge is how to quickly force the excess air out of the trashcan. Excess air trapped between the liner and the trashcan reduces the usable space. I do not have a quick solution for this. Please share if you have one.

Poke a hole in the trash bag.

Shake the bag first to fully inflate it. Then it slides into the can fully opened.

If you know, you know.

The bag will auto expand as contents are put in, so excess air isn’t an issue unless you’re throwing away feathers in which I’d say...why do you have feathers.

Poke a hole in the trashcan.
That's what I arrived at around lunch time, the inspiration being wire mesh trashcans.

Not for his pillows, at least.

I hear he uses them to tickle his butthole while masturbating to trannie midget porn. That's just a rumor though, and I don't trade in rumor. Gossip helps nobody and I never deal in it.
